Attorney Steven M. Wells has been elected to the board of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. The NACDL is the preeminent organization advancing the mission of the criminal defense bar to ensure justice and due process for those accused of crime or wrongdoing. Wells began his private law practice in 2006 after serving seven years with the State of Alaska Public Defenders Office and the Office of Public Advocacy. He is a 1994 graduate of California Western School of Law and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Covenant College in Georgia in 1991.
Best Lawyers, a peer-review publication in the legal profession, has named Michael J. Schneider as the "Anchorage Best Lawyers Personal Injury Litigator of the Year" for 2010.
