A headline on Page A-3 Thursday on a story about a Prudhoe Bay oil spill was incorrect when it said that cleanup crews removed 72 cubic yards of oil from a well-house pad. It should have said 72 cubic yards of contaminated snow was removed.
A front-page photo caption Thursday misidentified the mother and son shown in a picture with Star the reindeer. The photo shows Cyndi Fairbanks and her son, Jeffery.
