West advanced to the consolation round finals of the Whataburger Tournament in Dallas with a 55-50 victory Wednesday morning over Jim Ned High (Tuscola, Texas) before falling 41-40 to Wylie High (Abiline, Texas) in the afternoon. The Eagles finished the tournament with a 2-2 record.
