On Jan 15th, 2001 Skip Coile gave me his kidney and saved my life. He served our country in the USAF, he served our neighbors as an Alaska State Trooper. He has saved many lives and done many great things. He is a selfless, reliable and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Thanks dad. Not just for the kidney but for never once letting me down. I'm proud and grateful you are my dad. I love you. Because of you I have everything. I hope I'm making you proud too! HAPPY KIDNEY ANNIVERSARY. To the readers of this letter, please consider being an organ donor. Talk to your family about your decision. You don't have to wait until you die to give the gift of life.

CAN'T STAND FOX NEWS AT MTA
Recently while waiting in line at the MTA office in Wasilla for a telephone number change and I was confronted by Fox News on the big screen behind the receptionist. I complained to the shocked account person I was assigned to by noting I WOULD take my business elsewhere but where I lived (Houston/Big Lake) MTA was the only provider.
I told her Fox News was not a cable news channel as much as a media outlet of the Repuglican party and as a registered Democrat was offended a public utility would so closely align with one political party or ideology.
I left after the account rep said she agreed with the philosophy of Fox News. My service request change was lost, so I had to redo it with the same account rep 3 days later. Yes, I know it is Palin country but as a long time Alaskan, I am concerned we are heading into a civil war.
Hopefully you guys are not owned by News Corp as I contacted Frontiersman and they said they didn't see a problem.

WHO NEEDS HEALTH INSURANCE?
I choose not to have insurance and instead use natural holistic methods to stay healthy. I have not seen a doctor for illness in over 15 years. It is not our constitutional right to have health insurance.

CAGE THAT DOG ABUSER
I was reading Letters to the Editor today and just heard about the dead dogs in Dillingham. I googled it and saw a picture of one of the dogs. I could not believe it or the abuse these dogs had to go through. They died and to me that is murder.
I hope this man goes to jail and pays for his crime. These poor dogs did not have to die nor did they ask for this. I am just sick over this and we should not let this go. I thought Alaskans were better than than this. Please don't let him get a position like this again. I know, let's put him in a cage with no food or water and, oh then let's turn the heat off.
