Two Assembly incumbents, Dan Coffey in Midtown Seat F and Sheila Selkregg in East Anchorage Seat H, are not running. But two former Assembly members in those districts, Dick Traini in Coffey's district and Paul Bauer in Selkregg's, are running to regain their old seats.
Here are the Assembly candidates who filed by the deadline:
• Seat A, Eagle River and Chugiak: Incumbent Debbie Ossiander, Joelle Brown and Joshua Roberts.
• Seat D, West Anchorage: Incumbent Matt Claman, Ernie Hall and Bill Sigler.
• Seat F, Midtown: former Anchorage Assembly member Dick Traini, Andy Clary and Joshua Whittaker.
• Seat H, East Anchorage: Adam Trombley, Paul Honeman, Thomas Purcell and former Assemblyman Paul Bauer.
• Seat J, South Anchorage: Incumbent Jennifer Johnston and Keli Booher.
The School Board members are elected from the whole city but the candidates choose to run for either Seat A or Seat B.
Those running for Seat A are James Labelle, David Nees, Tommy O'Malley and Don Smith. Seat A incumbent Tim Steele has served the maximum number of consecutive terms and is not running.
Candidates for Seat B are incumbent Jeannie Mackie, Ted Wilson and Bob Griffin.
