Hutchison and Tri-Valley advanced to the 4:30 p.m. championship game at Menard Memorial Ice Arena with semifinal victories Friday afternoon.
Hutchison used two goals each from Drew Baggen and Dylan Edwards to thwart a magnificent performance from Monroe Catholic goaltender James Duncan and score a 5-1 victory.
Duncan stopped 49 shots, which is especially impressive considering a regulation high school hockey game involves 45 minutes of play.
Baggen added an assist for Hutchison and Ben Farnham contributed two assists.
Tri-Valley earned its championship-game berth on the strength of a 6-4 win over Delta Junction.
The Viking Warriors used a hat trick by Sterling Shreeve to hold off a late charge by the Huskies, who received a third-period hat trick from Eathon Gebauer.
Alex Mattieli and Zach Cizmowski each generated three assists for Tri-Valley.
Hutchison's regular-season overtime victories over Tri-Valley came by scores of 1-0 and 3-2.
