Jason Hickman, 35, who was born in Anchorage when his father was stationed here, died in Afghanistan Jan. 7 of wounds suffered in an attack on Combat Outpost Bowri Tana. He leaves behind Tiffany and three young sons ages 6, 5 and 2. I had no regrets, said Tiffany about Jason deploying overseas to serve his country. There's no better way to die than loving your country and doing what you love to do. She asks citizens to Thank a soldier when they see one, and thank their families as well.
