FAIRBANKS -- Alaska State Troopers needed just one traffic stop to make two arrests for drunken driving.
Troopers say a highway patrol officer arrested 42-year-old Craig Donaldson of Fairbanks for drunken driving after stopping him for speeding on Sunday. A short time later, 29-year-old Adam Whitlock arrived to take custody of Donaldson's car. The officer determined he had driven to the scene while drunk. The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports that Whitlock also had an outstanding warrant for failure to report to jail from a prior DUI. Both drivers were taken to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.
