Reasons for running: I am running for re-election because West Anchorage needs an Assemblymember with proven leadership, experience, and sound judgment to keep Anchorage moving in the right direction. My priorities are public safety and fiscal responsibility. Working together within the tax cap, Anchorage can be an even better place to live, work, and raise our families. The first person to serve as mayor who returned to work on the Assembly, I have great understanding about our city government. From managing the budget to repairing potholes to training police and firefighters, I put that knowledge and experience to work for West Anchorage.
