Experience: I ran for Mayor of Anchorage in 1987 – eventual winner was Tom Fink (it was a fall election at the time) I also ran for Mayor of Anchorage in 2008/2009 (spring election) I have served on many Boards of non-profits organizations, including the Anchorage School District Review Commission in 1997, the Principal Selection Committee at Wendler Midle School in early 2003, the Muldoon Community Center with former Assembly members Cheryl Clementson and Melinda Taylor. I was last appointed by former Mayor Begich to the late Assembly Member Joe Murdy site selection committee.

Reasons for running: I am running for Assembly to do the job void of party politics – the way our Charter is intended. I have served the citizens for over 23 years and feel that though I served many good years, I feel that my best years of service are still ahead of me. We the registered voters of this community deserve EXACTLY the government that we are willing to invest in. You invest in your government with your vote and taxes.
