Reasons for running: My wife, Sandy, and I moved to Anchorage in 1971. We raised eight children and now have thirteen grandchildren, all living in Midtown. Anchorage is a wonderful place to live with our parks, trails, road improvements and good schools. However, with budget deficits and growing public safety issues, we now need experienced leadership on the Assembly more than ever. That’s why I want to return to the Assembly. My record of working with all sides of the aisle and four mayors will be extremely helpful in ensuring Anchorage’s quality of life is continued and at a price we can afford!
