WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The U.S. State Department has scheduled Saturday, March 27, as Passport Day in the USA 2010. For this day only, appointments are not required for customers to apply directly at a regional passport agency.

Additionally, regional passport agencies will waive the $60 expedite fee for those who do not need expedited service. (Generally, everyone served by a regional passport agency must pay the fee.) Visit travel.state.gov for application forms and details about Passport Day locations and hours.
