For the fourth consecutive year, the Iditarod Trail Committee's documentary of the race has earned an Emmy nomination. The 90-minute "Iditarod 2009: Nature's Fury" earned its nomination from 47th Annual Northwest Regional Emmy Awards in the long-form documentary category.

Nominations come from television submissions from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.

All three previous nominations won an Emmy.
