Luke Richards and Miguel Franco scored for West as the Eagles beat the Bartlett Golden Bears at The Dome in CIC action.
"We dominated. We did everything right, except finish," said West coach Laef Eggan.
Eggan cited Bartlett goalie Hunter Dunn as the primary reason the Eagles couldn't capitalize on their strong play: "He came up big several times. He made at least 12 saves."
Grace 1, Nikiski 1
Grace Christian and Nikiski battled to a 1-1 tie Saturday in a Northern Lights Conference at AFS.
Nikiski struck first on Stefan Krogseng's first-half goal, and Grace (0-1-1) answered early in the second half with a goal from Jordan Edwards.
