The proposed contract would run through June 2013 and give each full-time teacher a $1,800 salary increase in the first year, then a 2 percent raise the second year and a 3 percent increase the third year.

Voting continued through Thursday evening, with results expected Friday morning. Adn.com will report the results as soon as they're available.

The current contract expires next month.

If the district's 3,500 members approve the contract, the Anchorage School Board will vote on adopting it.
