Two Kodiak bears at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center romp in the snow Tuesday, February 21, 2012. The warmer temperatures have brought them out, as well as the three other bears that live at the center. The two bears pictured are Taquoka (darker bear) and Shaguyik, both rescued from Kodiak Island over a year ago. The cubs are set to be transferred to a facility similar to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center in Sweden in June. The center's operations have been hampered by the massive amounts of snow, but it should open this weekend for the first time in weeks.
