Arctic Predators' story contradicted

The Wasilla-based Arctic Predators indoor football team said it postponed a home game scheduled Saturday because fans and sponsors requested it, but Wyoming Cavalry officials say the reason was because the Predators did not buy airline tickets to bring the Cavalry to Alaska. According to a story published in the Casper Star-Tribune, Cavalry officials said the game scheduled Saturday was scrapped after a teleconference Thursday between officials from the two teams and American Indoor Football Association co-founder John Morris.

The teams were previously scheduled to play in Wasilla on April 10, but that game was postponed because the Predators did not make a payment to Alaska Airlines for the Cavalry's trip, according to the Star-Tribune.
