Police say a man in his early 20s was shot multiple times in the torso late this afternoon in Valley of the Moon Park near the park's parking lot after a fight with several other men.

No condition update was immediately available, but police said the victim was alive when he was taken from the park to a hospital for treatment.

Multiple people left the park in vehicles after the shooting, said officers, who are interviewing witnesses.
