The blog Stop and Smell the Lichen out of Anaktuvuk Pass has been quiet recently. That's in part because Inupiaq blogger Nuna Inua -- known to friends and family as Rainey -- just got married to longtime beau B-III. But Rainey's readers don't have to wait for her to get back online to see photos. Her friend Bill Hess, a Wasilla-based photographer who for decades has worked extensively in village Alaska, was there and has four lengthy, photo-filled posts of the events up on his own blog, Wasilla by 300. Hess covers the arrival of guests, the wedding preparations, the ceremony and reception, and an alcohol-free tundra party afterward.
