The president of the state Senate has appointed a Wasilla state senator to the board of the Knik Arm Bridge and Toll Authority. Kodiak Sen. Gary Stevens appointed Sen. Linda Menard to the board.
Menard replaces state Sen. Charlie Huggins.
The legislature established the Knik Arm Bridge and Toll Authority in 2003.
