This is "Joe's Guide to Zion National Park." The park is located in Southwestern Utah and features the 15-mile-long Zion Canyon, cut a half mile deep into the red and tan limestone by the Virgin River. There are over 50 routes mapped out and described in detail. Most hikes are geared toward the average hiker and families.
With more than 1,500 miles of trails, the Florida National Scenic Trail provides a wide variety of unique hiking opportunities. From forests to lakes to the ocean, this trail will having you walking through sandy white beaches or stomping through one of the largest swamp forests in Florida. Just make sure to give the alligators a wide berth.
The Pacific Crest Trail stretches from Washington to Oregon to California, following the Sierra Nevada and Cascade Ranges along the Pacific Ocean. Most of the route will take you through protected national forests but portions also get up close and personal with glaciers and down into desert dunes.
