Clothing chain popular with teens debuts maternity wear in Anchorage

July 12, 2010

Forever 21, the popular national clothing retailer that despite its name is a favorite of teen girls, has introduced a line of maternity wear. Anchorage's Dimond Center store is among outlets in five states that are selling the "Love 21" maternity line; three of the other four states -- Texas, California and Arizona -- have among the highest teen pregnancy rates in the U.S., reports the women's fashion and culture blog The Gloss, which wonders if the Love 21 line will be marketed on shows like MTV's "16 and Pregnant."
