AROUND THE HORN

The Anchorage Bucs snapped a seven-game losing streak Monday night with a 3-1 win over the Anchorage Glacier Pilots at Mulcahy Stadium. After falling behind 1-0 in the top of the first, the Bucs plated runs in each of the first three innings to back starter Casey Hauptman to the win.

After Eddie Rohan's sacrifice fly to left drove in Sean Sullivan in the bottom of the first, Coley Crank's double in the second plated Zach Vincej for the winning run. Chris Seritella added an RBI single as insurance an inning later to cap the Bucs' scoring.

Hauptman went eight innings, allowing no earned runs, walking none and striking out four before yielding to closer Justin Hopper, who set down the Pilots' side in order to close the game.
