Parnell announced the site this week. Parnell's spokeswoman, Sharon Leighow, said Monday that the goal is to provide information to constituents in a user-friendly way. She likened it to the administration rollout of the state capital budget.
But Samuels on Tuesday called the timing of the site's launch -- weeks before the Aug. 24 primary -- "highly suspect" and said it amounts to "electioneering on public funds."
The pipeline issue, and how best to get gas from Alaska's North Slope to market, has become a lead issue among the Republican candidates.
