There are parks in almost every town in the U.S., some with amusement park dimensions and thrills. Time to get out your tricktionary and start practicing.
Kona skatepark, in Jacksonville, Fla., is the worlds longest running skate park. It first opened in 1977 and it's original concrete snake runs are still intact and can be skated. The park also features two street /x-games courses, a spine ramp, an 80-foot wide vertical ramp and a concrete pool.
Louisville Extreme Park in Louisville, Ky., includes 40,000 square feet of outdoor concrete skating surface, a 24-foot full pipe and a 12-foot wooden vertical ramp with a 130-foot extension. Whether your into skateboarding, in-line skating or biking, this park offers great opportunities for all ages and skill levels to practice and play.

Built underneath the Burnside Bridge in Portland, the 14-year-old Burnside had become an iconic skate park mentioned in movies and on TV. Chehalem Park, in Newberb, features nearly 30,000 square feet of one-of-a kind designs and is the most visited park in the Pacific Northwest.
Dreamland has built skate parks across the U.S., including Hawaii. Its largest park, Battle Ground Skate Park in Battle Ground, Wash., includes a clover shaped bowl with pool coping and a street course that is a favorite for skaters of all skill levels.
