The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is reducing traffic on the Ptarmigan Creek Bridge, Mile 23 Seward Highway, to one center lane.
The restriction started at 10 p.m. Friday and will last at least through the weekend, according to the department. No overweight loads will be permitted across the bridge. Flaggers will allow alternating directions of traffic to cross the bridge. Drivers should expect delays.
