It is the fifth straight cup for the Pilots, who were founded in 1969 and joined in the Alaska Baseball League by the Bucs in 1981.

Pilots starter Ben Mount, who went seven innings, and relievers Gene Escat and Kyle Starrat combined for a five-hit shutout. Mount, 0-6 coming into the contest, earned his first win in nine starts.

The strong effort on the mound was backed by Okoyea Dickson's two-run homer in fourth that drove in Trent Garrison.

The Pilots won 6-5 on Sunday in the opening game. The two teams will meet tonight at 7 p.m. with only pride on the line.
