TUESDAY
Stevens will lie in repose at All Saints Episcopal Church, 545 W. Eighth Ave.. The public may pay their respects between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
The Linny Pacillo Parking Garage, 517 W. Seventh Ave., will be open to the public attending the visitation.
At 8 p.m., a motorcade procession will take Stevens' body to the Anchorage Baptist Temple along this route: west on Eighth Avenue from the church to L Street, L Street/Minnesota Boulevard south to Benson Boulevard, then Benson/Northern Lights Boulevard to the Anchorage Baptist Temple.
The Stevens family encourages members of the public to pay their respects to Stevens by lining this procession route.
WEDNESDAY
Funeral service at Anchorage Baptist Temple, 6401 E. Northern Lights Blvd. at 2 p.m. A reception will follow.
The doors will open to the public at noon.
No parking for the public will be available at the temple, except for limited disability parking. Instead, the public is advised to park at the Tikahtnu Commons mall -- in the lot between the Kohl's and Lowe's stores. The mall is on Muldoon road just north of the Glenn Highway. Shuttle buses will leave from the east end of the parking lot starting at noon.
DONATIONS and CONDOLENCES
The Stevens family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to, and remembrances sent to, the North to the Future Foundation, 701 W. Eighth Ave., Suite 700, Anchorage 99501. The foundation was established to recognize and honor the career of Stevens and to perpetuate public service in Alaska.
Condolence messages may be sent to the family at 1717 W. 11th Ave., Anchorage 99501.
OTHER MEMORIAL SERVICES
The Catholic church is offering a memorial Mass at Holy Family Cathedral, 800 W. Fifth Ave. at 12:10 p.m. Monday. This is not the official funeral for Stevens.
