Labor Day brought a high-water mark for a group of Southcentral paddle surfers, reports the Homer-based Surf Alaska site. Five of them caught a mile-long ride on the Turnagain Arm bore tide. Scott Dickerson, a paddleboard dealer and one of the five, says he shot the action with a handheld iPhone. See the video below:
