ATIA officials say each recipient receives $350 to help with travel costs. GCI, an Anchorage-based telecommunications company, also will pay the $350 registration fee for each of the winners.

ATIA spokesman James Minton says the recipients are rural tourism businesses, businesses with less than $500,000 in annual gross receipts or businesses that have not attended the convention in the past three years.
