Anchorage police were investigating a hit-and-run of a Mountain View tobacco shop Saturday afternoon. At about 2:15 p.m., a van ran into the drive-through window of the Smoke King shop in the 4300 block of Mountain View Drive, breaking the window glass and cracking a wall, police said.
The van fled the scene but the worker who was stationed at the window recognized the driver, according to police spokeswoman Anita Shell.
Police said Saturday afternoon that they were looking for a suspect. They did not provide the suspect's name or the make of the van.
