A judge Monday agreed to delay a September trial for Park Myers of Juneau and Jeffrey Peacock Lebanon, Penn.

Myers on Friday filed a motion to change his plea and was granted a hearing Oct. 14.

Peacock is undergoing chemotherapy. His next court appearance is set for Oct. 28.

The men were arrested May 21 on misdemeanor charges that included bear baiting without a permit, unlawful possession of game, hunting in a closed area and taking big game by unlawful methods.

They are accused of an illegal wolf kill that coincided with the disappearance of the black wolf that frequented the Mendenhall Glacier area.
