JUNEAU -- Gripes about hotels topped the Better Business Bureau's list of complaints in Alaska this summer.
The group this week released its top 10 list of complaints and inquiries for the past quarter.
Coming in second on the list of complaints: car repair and service, followed by a three-way tie between new car dealers, restaurants and telephone communications.
Tourism is a major industry in Alaska, and the three-month span covered was July through September, the heart of the tourist season.
The top three inquiries related to general contractors, used car dealers and car repair and service.
