BIA head to address AFN

The Alaska Federation of Natives Convention is under way at the Carlson Center in Fairbanks. Proceedings will be carried live starting at 9 a.m. on ARCS (the Alaska Rural Communications Service), GCI cable channels 1 and 15, and webcast at http://www.360north.org/livefeed.php and http://www.nativefederation.org.

On the radio, KNBA 90.3 FM will broadcast the convention from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., hosted by KNBA news and public affairs producer Joaqlin Estus. The radio broadcasts will feature daily Native language reports in Athabascan, Yup'ik and Iñupiaq.
