JUNEAU -- Two hunters missing on Douglas Island have been found.
Alaska State Troopers say the two Juneau men, 50-year-old Lee Ferguson and 28-year-old Saffon Hayes, were found Monday afternoon.
They were found by a Coast Guard helicopter that was searching the Hilda Creek Valley.
Troopers say they were a little bit hypothermic, but otherwise uninjured.
The two left to go hunting in the area around Eaglecrest and were expected back that same afternoon. Troopers say they had a VHF radio but the antenna broke. Their compass also failed.
