Campaign manager Kevin Sweeney says that while a link for contributions to her legal defense fund remains on her website, she isn't holding fundraisers or sending out solicitations in connection with Alaska's disputed Senate race. The campaign has reported fundraising for the effort at more than $250,000.
Murkowski's campaign is hopeful that a federal judge will lift his stay next week on certifying the results of the race between Murkowski and rival Joe Miller, and do away with any need to begin actively raising money again.
Murkowski has declared victory but Miller has sued over how the state conducted the election. The state Supreme Court hears arguments Friday.
