Charlie Mayse took photos in Interior Alaska in the 1950s and gave them to his friend Jerome Lardy, who printed them and provided identification of people and scenes. The Lardy photo collection, including the Mayse photos, was recently found boxed at the public library in Fargo, N. D., and was identified and returned to Alaska.
