Phoenix radio station offers Bristol Palin an on-air job

Published: January 26, 2011

Bristol Palin, who recently purchased a home in a far-flung Phoenix suburb, met with management of Phoenix radio station Mix 96.9 last week and was offered a job co-hosting the station's morning show, reports TV station KNXV. She got a sterling reference from Anchorage radio personality Bob Lester of the "Bob and Mark" morning show on KWHL, on which Bristol and mother Sarah Palin are sometimes guests. "She is a really sweet, smart girl, and I think she will do a great job," said Lester. There's no word yet from the Palins on whether Bristol will accept the job or is living in Phoenix.
