Participants progress through experiential based self discovery that emphasizes interpersonal relationships and individual growth. Students learn from the ground up how to care for and ride a horse. All inclusive curriculum includes ground handling, horse management, grooming, tacking, wilderness awareness and riding. Riding instruction is based on Sally Swift's centered riding philosophies, which includes riding with a balanced seat and soft hands. Yoga and Pilates are used in conjunction with building riding skills.

Early experiences with nature have been positively linked with the development of children's imaginations and their senses of wonder and curiosity. Field trips may include Potter Marsh, Imaginarium, and Eagle River Nature Center. Activities include planting a garden, taking a "listening" walk, and learning about Bayshore's beaver, muskrat, and ducks. Each week the children will swim in the on-site pool.

The camp offers swimming lessons, biking, hiking and outdoor fun, gymnastic lessons, tae kwon do lessons, the reading program through the public library, cooking activities and art exploration with Debbie Houseman. Small and large group weekly field trips to cool places like Crow Creek Mine, Alyeska and local parks. Children are in small groups of 10-15, based on age and grade. A fitness class for youth struggling with weight problems and overeating, which can lead to diabetes and other serious health issues. Each day participants will work with a personal trainer to improve cardio, strength, and conditioning. Nutrition lessons provided by a licensed dietician. Class led by a licensed mental health clinician teaching self esteem, confidence, resilience, and developing a positive self image.
