Alaska Native Youth Camp

Native youth from all over the state will have the opportunity to embrace native culture and make new friends in a safe and loving Christian camp, participate in praise and worship, Bible study, arts and crafts, and awesome recreation activities. Registration forms are online.

Ages: Grades 7-12

When: Registration begins Monday, June 4 from 2-4 p.m.; Camp ends Friday June 10 at 1 p.m.

Cost: $150, scholarships available


Boys Bible Boot Camp

Become a soldier for Christ and experience the way God wants you to live through praise and worship, Bible study, and enjoy outdoor games and activities.

Ages: Grades 1-6

When: Registration is from 2-4 p.m. June 27, Camp ends at 1 p.m. July 1

Cost: $150, scholarships available.


Change Your World Girls Camp

Girls will travel to remote locations of the world to experience how God is moving and learn ways they can make a difference. Classes include balloon training, knitting, drama, sign language, nature walks, and other camp activities. Registration forms online.

Ages: Grades 1-6

When: Registration is from 2-4 p.m. June 20, Camp ends at 1 p.m. June 24

Cost: $150, scholarships available.


X-Faith Youth Camp

Experience a week of camp dedicated to Alaska's youth. Fun times, games, Bible study, awesome music, and relevant teaching.

Ages: Completed grades 7-12

When: Registration is from 2-4 p.m. June 13, Camp ends at 1 p.m. June 17

Cost: $175, scholarships available


Vacation Bible School

Sponsor: Anchorage Lutheran Church

This years theme is Donkey Tales, a musical. Each day will be centered around a Bible story involving a donkey; activities that make the story real for the children and crafts that help ready the set for the Friday evening performance.

Ages: 3 years- 6th grade

When: 9:30-11:30 am, July 25-29

The Church of God Family Camp

Activities for the whole family include classes, crafts, group games, bonfire, banquet, evening services, and more. Learn more about the Lord and have fun doing it. Must supply your own bedding and towels. Car pooling from Anchorage is available. Extra money for lunch coming and going and canteen during camp also needed. Application deadline May 30.

Ages: All ages, under 8 years must have parent or guardian with them

When: Leaving Anchorage at 2 p.m. June 19; returning at 11 a.m. June 22

SMAK- Summer Music Activities for Kids

Sponsor: First Baptist Church of Anchorage

This music camp follows the vacation Bible school theme "Big Apple Adventure." The children learn a musical filled with choreography to be presented at 7 p.m. June 9. The children will experience music games, relays, recorders, recreation and more. Lunch is provided.

Victory Bible Camps

Sponsor: Victory Ministries of Alaska

95 miles from Anchorage, Victory offers four camps. Alpine Camp is for Jr/Sr high youth. Frontier Camp reaches grades 2-6. Ranch Camp is a Certified program teaching 4 levels of horsemanship for grades 5-12 or pack trips for Jr/Sr high. All the camps include swimming, boating, crafts, games, chapel and much more. The Servant and Leadership Training program (S.A.L.T.) is for those serious about their faith and have a desire to be discipled. They take leadership classes and help with some camp work. They also participate in the fun activities and attend chapel times with the others.

Salvation Army Kings Lake Camps

Music and Creative Ministries Camp

This camp is geared to kids interested in music, whether beginners or more skilled musicians. Music programs focus on brass instruments and vocal. Percussion, timbrels, keyboard and guitar will also offered.

Kings Lake Teen Camp

This camp is for teens who want to step out of their element, away from the video games into the beauty that God has provided in nature, with hiking, camping, fishing, cook-outs and more.

Ages: 13-16

Community Kids Camp

Enjoy a week in the beautiful Alaskan outdoors, filled with fun, activities and the opportunity to meet new friends. This activity focused program is perfect for kids of all interests.

Ages: 7-12

Anchor Lutheran School Summer Program

Fun faith based, child centered activities. Weekly field trips for all age groups, arts and crafts, service projects, weekly chapel, bike days, water fun days, outdoor picnics and more.

Middle School Camp

Kids will enjoy a week of fun and community building with peers from across Alaska. Campers experience exciting group building activities, meaningful worship, and will learn about discovering God in the everyday.

Students will enjoy a week at camp with peers from across Alaska. Campers will experience fellowship, meaningful worship, servant leadership and team building through participating in service projects, the challenge course and other activities.

Faith Adventure Camp

Faith Adventure Camp is for older elementary children who are ready to spend a whole week at camp. Campers work together in family groups, develop a caring community, and are encouraged to explore their faith.

Ages: Entering grades 4-6

Adventure Canoe Camp

Campers will sharpen their canoe skills camping and canoeing on the Kenai Peninsula. Campers are guided by experienced canoers and a wilderness first responder trained staff.

Ages: Entering grades 9-just graduated

MAD (Music and Drama) Camp

Campers audition for, learn, practice and choreograph a prepared musical, performing it on Saturday and Sunday. In between rehearsals, campers find time for fun activities around camp. Prior acting or musical experience is not required.

God Seekers Camp

A great camp for younger children and first time campers. The days are packed with games, songs, worship experiences, water play, nature activities, and more.

Gold Rush Vacation Bible School

Grab your bandana, dust off your boots, and get ready to mine for true gold, in the word of God. Exciting stories, dramas, songs, crafts, games, and snacks await you this summer as you learn the important truths of who Jesus is.
