Gardeners beware: Tonight's weather -- windy with below-freezing temperatures in some places -- could do damage to greenhouse plants, according to the National Weather Service.
Anchorage residents can expect lows in the upper 20s, with winds gusting to 35 miles per hour, according to the most recent forecast.
If plants have not been planted yet and are in the process of hardening off, Alaska Mill and Feed advises people take them indoors. If they have been planted, then gardeners should cover them.
