The Coast Guard inspected repairs to the 64-foot Sea Lion Express on Thursday and gave the all-clear for it to return to service.
The Ketchikan Daily News reports the Allen Marine Tours' vessel hit the rock late Tuesday morning. Coast Guard responders were able to plug the hole and run dewatering pumps as it returned to harbor under its own power.
There were five people on board at the time of the accident, none of them tour passengers. No one was injured, and there was no pollution.
The Sea Lion Express is licensed to carry 48 passengers.
