Justin Schneider drove in three runs for Chugiak Post 33 Friday, propelling the Mustangs to an 8-1 American Legion win over Eagle River, in a baseball game at Oberg Field. Chugiak's Cameron Fritz pitched five innings for the win, and Gareth Sexton closed the last two innings. The Mustangs played an error-free game and took advantage of four errors by the Wolves, with Connor Cimmiyotti, Chase Wilson, Deven Ferriss and Fritz each adding one RBI for Chugiak.
David Fuller pitched a complete game for Eagle River, and the Wolves outhit the Mustangs 6-4.
