American Legion baseball tourament title game set

American Legion baseball teams Napoleon, Ohio, Post 300 and Las Vegas Post 40 each delivered big wins Saturday at McManus Field in Wasilla to remain undefeated in the Todd Ryan Memorial Tournament and advance to today's championship game at 3 p.m.

Napoleon rolled to a 10-0 win over Chugiak Post 33, and Las Vegas cruised to a 9-0 win over Wasilla Post 35.

Wasilla will meet Service Post 28 in a consolation game today at noon, after the Cougars slipped past Eagle River 10-7 on Saturday. Service's Mike Choy went 2 for 3 with an RBI and earned a win as a relief pitcher. Stephen Ferntheil drove in two runs and scored three runs, and Brandon Mitchell added two hits and two runs for the Cougars.

Eagle River's Brandon Metzel went 2 for 4 with three RBIs in the loss. The Wolves will play a consolation game against Chugiak today at 6 p.m.
