The 12-2 win at Mulcahy Stadium featured two-run doubles by Tanner Rust and Manny Acosta, a three-run double by Nate Ring and a solo home run by Patrick Wisdom.
Ring added a late triple to his 4-for-4 outing, and the Oilers (14-6) extended their lead to 3 1/2 games over the Bucs (11-10).
-- The Athletes in Action Fire broke out of a tie for last place in the ABL on Thursday, beating the Anchorage Glacier Pilots 5-4 in 10 innings at Mulcahy Stadium.
J.J. Turbin was hitless in four at-bats before his walk-off base hit to right field drove in Cole Bullard for the game-winning run. The Fire improved to 10-14, and the Pilots (9-15) fell to last place. Brady Hohl was the top hitter for the Pilots, going 2 for 4. He singled, stole a base and scored a run in the sixth inning to tie the score at 3-3. Kavin Keyes also scored in the sixth inning, putting the Pilots in front 4-3 on a Maxx Garrett double.
The Fire's Marshal McDonald evened the score at 4-4 in the seventh inning, when he ripped a solo home run.
