FAIRBANKS -- The Senator Ted Stevens Gallery at the University of Alaska Fairbanks is open.
The gallery documents Stevens' 41-year career as a United States senator. At the end of his senate career, Stevens donated his records to the University of Alaska Fairbanks Rasmuson Library, where staff have been working for months to organize the documents.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner says a small fraction of these records are now on exhibit as "Ted Stevens and Alaska Statehood: The Process and the Passion."
