The Peninsula Oilers, one of six teams still alive in the National Baseball Congress World Series, will meet the San Diego Waves today at 2 p.m. in Wichita, Kan. The loser will be eliminated from the 32-team double-elimination tournament.

Both teams were sent to the loser's bracket by the Santa Barbara Foresters of the California Collegiate League. Santa Barbara beat the Oilers 6-4 Tuesday and blanked the Waves 7-0 Wednesday and is the only undefeated team left.

The Oilers play in the Alaska Baseball League and the Waves are in the CCL.
