A small plane carrying six people crashed Saturday night August 13, 2011 west of McGrath, killing the pilot and a longtime school teacher from the nearby village of Anvik. Alaska State Troopers released additional photos of the crash site today, showing the location of the downed plane. The family of Julie Walker also shared photos of the popular Blackwell School teacher, who died in the crash along with pilot Ernest Chase.
