Jake Oberg and Whitney Williams are leading the charge for a dozen junior tennis players competing this week in the USTA Pacific Northwest Junior Sectionals in Portland, Ore.
Both players won their first two matches, Oberg in boys 16 and Williams in girls 16. Oberg will play in today's round of 16 and Williams will play in the quarterfinals.
The sections is the premier event for juniors from Alaska, Washington and Oregon.
