JUNEAU -- Alaskans who filed for their Permanent Fund dividend during the first quarter of the year have until midnight tonight to add a charitable contribution.

Alaskans who apply for dividends online are able to contribute a portion of it to a nonprofit through the "Pick. Click. Give" program. Rasmuson Foundation special projects manager Jordan Marshall said nearly 20,000 Alaskans pledged more than $1.5 million during the regular PFD filing season.

The foundation is one of the sponsors of "Pick. Click. Give." The program is in its third year.
